Applies to the JZ Transit Runsheet app for Android (com.jztransit.runsheet)
This policy covers JZ Transit Runsheet (the “App”), the traffic-desk app published by J Z TRANSIT LTD for Android devices. It explains which details the App keeps, where they are held and how they are removed.
Bookings sent to the desk by e-mail are handled as set out on the records and retention page at jztransit.live.
About This App
JZ Transit Runsheet is the desk's run sheet. It lays out trunk runs and the collection round stop by stop, fills the trailer deck plan, prints the drivers' hours window as clock times, reads the cut-off ladder for tonight's vehicles, records the walkaround check and keeps the lines that repeat every week.
The App works everything out on the device from the times and counts entered into it.
Information the App Keeps
The App stores the following on the device, inside its own application storage:
- runs: calling points, planned times, drive and dwell minutes and the pallets dropped and collected;
- deck plans: the vehicle and the full, half and quarter pallet counts;
- hours window entries: shift start, minutes driven and the day options chosen;
- cut-off checks: direction, the stage reached and the time checked;
- walkaround checks: vehicle code, the result for each item, defects noted, a driver code and the check times;
- standing lines: line code, place, days, ready time and usual pallet count;
- the language set in the App.
Nothing entered leaves the device, and it is available again whenever the App is reopened.
Third-Party Services
Two Google components are part of the App; each is covered by Google's privacy terms:
- Google Play Services — handles installation and updates of the App and checks the installed package against the release signature. See the Google Privacy Policy.
- Google Fonts — is the source of the typefaces on the desk screens, which travel inside the App package rather than being fetched. See the Google Fonts privacy FAQ.
Your Control Over Your Data
Runs, checks and lines can each be edited or deleted where they are listed. The desk sheet clears every saved entry at once and can reload the specimen sheet. Removing the App from the device through Android settings erases all of its storage.
Children
JZ Transit Runsheet is a working tool for the haulage trade and is intended for users aged 16 and over.
Changes to This Policy
When this policy is revised, the current wording is always the one published at this address.
